Authenticity, timing, sizing, care and shipping: the essentials before and after your order.

Authenticity

How do I know my piece is genuine?: Every limited piece arrives with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity bearing a unique code. You can verify that code any time on our certificate validation page: it confirms the edition number and provenance.
What does the edition number mean?: Each edition is finite and individually numbered (for example, No. 12 of 75). Your number is fixed to you the moment your order completes. Edition No. 1 is always kept for our archive.

How long until my piece arrives?: Dresses are made to order: each is crafted for you after you order (typically around a week in the atelier), then hand-finished, packed and dispatched, so allow longer than an in-stock item. You'll receive tracking the moment it ships.
Can I cancel or return a made-to-order piece?: Because made-to-order and 1-of-1 pieces are crafted specifically for you, they are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off right under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and cannot be cancelled once production has begun, except if faulty. In-stock accessories and prints can be returned within 14 days.

How do I choose my size?: Each dress lists a size guide on its product page: open ‘Size guide’ beside the size selector for measurements. If you're between sizes or unsure, contact us before ordering; as pieces are made to order we can't exchange for fit.

How should I care for my piece?: Treat each piece gently: cool hand-wash or dry-clean as noted on the garment's care label, wash inside-out, avoid wringing, and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight to protect the printed artwork. Store on a padded hanger or folded with the enclosed tissue.
What about the artwork print and paper items?: Keep the A5 art print and story card out of direct sunlight to preserve the colours. The thank-you note is printed on seed paper: plant it in a little soil, keep it moist, and it will grow.

Where do you ship, and who pays duties?: We ship worldwide with tracked delivery. Orders outside the UK may attract import duties or taxes on arrival, which are the recipient's responsibility. See Shipping & Returns for full details.
